A fabulous outcome for Sam at the 4yo Young Event Horse class at Maryland Horse Trials!!
Prinz Von der Ahe ACF is a horse Sam has been training during his time with Boyd Martin. At this event they scored a fantastic 67.1 out of 70 for the jumping, gallop and overall impression to win the class!
Sam also finished in 6th place on Magic Spirit, his other horse in that class — qualifying both for the USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships in October!
The video below is Prinz at his very first cross country schooling session just a few weeks ago. He has come a long way in a short time and all of the horses taken for their first event at Maryland had a great experience which was the ultimate goal.
