What a weekend! Feeling blessed to have such a strong team of horses making the trip to Sydney worthwhile!
Santoro – 1st CCI2*L, Wimborne Conjuror – 2nd CCI2*L, & Woodmount Lolita – 3rd CCI4*S
Things don’t always go to plan in the horse world but overall our Sydney event delivered! All three horses felt great all weekend and really performed in good fashion.
I’ve felt that Wimborne Conjuror and Santoro were ready to step up and do their first long format event and its great to see them have a solid performance with a PB in the dressage for Connor, and Sammy getting stronger in all three phases.
It was great to see Woodmount Lolita go up against a field of interstate riders and maintain her consistent form and just how much she loves her job! A great event to really test where we are at before heading into Melbourne.
Any trip takes a lot of hard work and would not be possible without our amazing team of owners, sponsors and supporters. I am so appreciative of the team I have around me.
Thank you to Fiona Mitchell and the Santoro syndicate who show continuous support and trusted me that this trip was worthwhile for their horses!
The perfect fit and design of their Bates Saddles allowed the horses to perform at their best – all three of the horses who travelled to Sydney are ridden in an Artiste saddle for dressage and Advanta for jumping.
All of the horses compete in Flexible Fit Equestrian bridles, breastplates and girths – this gear is not only second to none in quality but also provides a perfect custom fit.
The horses are fed James & Son Premium Horse Feed, so not only were they fit and ready to do the job, they also looked the part.
We prepared the horses with guidance from Elite Equine Veterinarians – we are very grateful to have their expertise on hand!
Stable and yard supplies and the trillion other necessities that go along with horses come from The Saddlery Shop in Seville.
Our horses joints are cared for by Wonder Joint from Natural Mobility, and their rugs are kept in tip-top shape thanks to Equus Rugs .
We are also indebted to Sharnika Design who is on call from afar for all things design and web related!
Lastly, thank you to all involved in the event – from TDs and all of the OC as well as the many volunteers that it took to get the event up and running, particularly in NSW an area that has had such bad luck with weather lately.
