With Woodmount Lolita (Lily) taking out the win at the Australian Championships in the CCI** class we continue to think how lucky we are to have such a talented horse as a member of our team! Looking back at her journey with us so far it is amazing to see how she has come along in leaps and bounds and is taking the eventing scene by storm!
All of this seems crazy as this event last year marked her first EvA95 competition. Since then she continues to grow in confidence finishing in the top 4 at every event in 2018 as well as only ever having one rail to tarnish what would otherwise be a perfect jumping record.
What makes all of this even more exciting is that she is absolutely loving her job and always tries extremely hard for me as she proceeds with her preparation for Melbourne International Horse Trials this year!
The biggest thank you must go to Fiona Mitchell who took a huge gamble in keeping this mare with me but trusted in our belief of her ability and potential. How incredibly lucky I am to not only be able to have the ride on this superstar mare but to have Fiona along for the whole journey.
