Jeffree Eventing is located in Macclesfield, Victoria, a quiet semi-rural area nestled between the Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley, east of Melbourne.
In May 2023, Jeffree Eventing relocated to a larger property, still in Macclesfield, providing the space and opportunity to create a purpose built training facility for both horses and riders. While development is ongoing, the long term vision is to have every aspect of training available on site, including dressage and showjumping on both sand and grass surfaces, fitness and hill work, and a cross country course. With each stage of development, the property continues to evolve into a complete training base designed to produce horses from their earliest education through to the highest levels of the sport.
Sam also offers private coaching at the property in dressage, showjumping and cross country, with facilities continuing to expand as the vision becomes a reality.
Current facilities include:
- Sand arena
- Showjumps
- Cross country course
- Grass riding area
- Six tie-up day yards
- Undercover cross-tie and wash bay area
- Gallop track
- Large open areas for fitness work and hacking
- On site hill work
- Twenty individual paddocks with treated pine posts and shockcoat electric wires for maximum safety
