Just wanted to let you know that I’ve had loads of wonderful Feedback from happy excited members, about your coaching, following Sunday’s rally at Wilkira Park.
They spoke to me, rang & emailed, to share their Joy & pleasure that their lessons bought. The repeated words were Fun, acknowledgement, new skills learnt, adjustments for improvement & great observation of horse and rider combos & their needs.
Thanks for such a great day, we are all looking forward to next month to build on lessons learnt.
I entrusted my daughter’s much loved pony with Sam to bring her back into work after 2+ years in the paddock. Sam immediately assessed her and organised all the attention she required to make her journey back to work a positive and productive experience.
Not only is Sam an exceptional rider, coach & trainer, he is gentle, patient, understanding, organised, communicative & a pleasure to work with.
Along with Sam’s professionalism and the support of Wendy & her wealth of experience & her positive & supportive attitude I could not be happier with the results.
I can highly reccommend Jeffree Eventing for any equestrian development needs!
My horse, Northern Isaac, had his introduction to eventing with Vaughan Ellis in October 2012. Vaughan did a fabulous job teaching Isaac to jump, starting with a pole on the ground. They started competing at Inverleigh in February 2013, and their final performance was the “Friends of Werribee” Prelim in 2014, which they won.
Vaughan had decided he couldn’t keep riding Isaac and be able to fit in riding his own horse, so he was turned out with the future uncertain. Sam’s aunt, Sharon, mentioned that Sam was interested in getting another horse. Vaughan also knew Sam and he thought Sam and Isaac would get on really well, and he was right!
Sam came over to my place to look at, and ride Isaac. Isaac was a bit feral after having time off, and I was amazed how well Sam managed to stick on whilst still insisting that Isaac get on with the job. Sam was keen to take Isaac on and he moved to Sam’s place in October 2015.
I am proud to highly recommend Jeffree Eventing after my experience with Sam and his help in retraining my OTT. My horse had raced successfully for 7 years and ended up in our paddock for retirement. I wanted to see if he had some talent for eventing as well as racing and had no idea where to start! I sent him to Sam who knew exactly how to get inside the OTT’s head and introduce him to his new career. His gentle and calm approach is exactly what my boy needed. With the consistent work, he built up strength in the right places and developed much knowledge and skills that would have taken me years to teach him. Sam took him out and competed him at 3 horse trials and the improvement to each one was incredible. He went from an anxious thoroughbred to a relaxed “dude” who took all the disciplines in his stride. I now have him back home as it’s my turn to take him out and have the fun. There’s no way I would be out competing again without Jeffree Eventing.
l have known Sam since he was a very young rider, he then came to Haileybury and joined the Equestrian Team with my son Alex. Sam stood out because of his easy going manner and ability to fit in with the Team and mentor the younger riders. Over the years he has developed a strong passion for eventing and a keen interest to learn as much as he can from all the opportunities he has had. This along with his incredible work ethic and energy has resulted in success in training and campaigning of his and clients horses. We now co-own the exciting young horse Wimborne Conjuror.
