Wimborne Conjuror is co-owned by Fiona Mitchell and Sam Jeffree. He was bred at Wimborne Stud in 2012 and is by the performance stallion Contenda.
Connor arrived at Jeffree Eventing in January 2018, and was just at the start of his education. On his first outing to the 2018 Dressage and Jumping with the Stars Young Event Horse class he won the conformation section and was awarded scores of 9.5 for type, 9 for frame, 9.5 for trot up and 9.5 for general impression by the international judge! Connor spent the remainder of the year gaining strength and confidence through the lower levels of EvA80 and EvA95.
During 2019 Connor made the step up into 1 star classes, and placed 4th at the Melb3DE 6yo Young Event Horse class. Amazingly, Connor accrued zero jump penalties for the entire year, including at his last start where he took a step up and completed his first CCI2**.
2020 and 2021 were the Covid lock-down years. After this 2022 saw Connor complete a successful CCI2**Long class in Sydney, ending in 2nd place, and later that year he went up another level to 3star, finishing in 2nd place in the CCI3star class at Spring Horse Trial. Connor nailed 3 star in 2023, winning his class at Tonimbuk Horse Trials and finishing in 4th place in the CCI3star Long class at Adelaide Equestrian Festival. Along with these achievements, Connor graduated to 4star classes, finishing 3rd at Spring Horse Trials and setting himself up for a successful 2024.
Connor has always been a long-term prospect and we are excited to see him develop even further over the coming years.
