Wimborne Caitlin was bred by Wimborne Park stud in 2017, and Sam purchased her directly from there in September 2020 when she was just turning 3. Caitlin is full sister to the 4star Wimborne Conjuror. At the time of her purchase Victoria was in the grip of Covid lockdowns but Sam was convinced this filly has what it takes to go all the way to the top.
Since then Caitlin has had a combination of training and spells to allow her to grow and mature. In 2022 Caitlin had some off property experiences, including her first taste of competition at EvA80 level.
During 2023 Caitlin’s competition career made real progress – she completed 2 more EvA80 events and made a successful transition up to EvA95 level. A highlight during that year was winning the Young Event Horse4/5yo class at Dressage and Jumping with the Stars. Caitlin then also went on to win the coveted title of Champion of Champions – absolutely cementing our belief she is one to watch for the future.
