Another super event for Jeffree Eventing on the weekend where I rode 6 horses. Firstly a big thankyou to the organising committee of Tonimbuk Horse Trials for everything they had to deal with, and ensuring that riders and horses remained safe in some trying conditions. Santoro (Sammy) is a 16hh Warmblood gelding, who was bred at Ryan’s Horses in 2012. He is by Starnberg out of a Regardez Moi mare, and is owned by Sam and syndicate members including Karen Dabbs, and Mark and Lisa Rudelic. Santoro came to Jeffree Eventing in October 2018 but officially joined the team in July 2019. Tooradin Horse Trials 2019

On November 23 and 24 I ended the competition season at Tooradin Horse Trials, and it was a great way to finish with all of my horses coming home with rosettes! Cross country day in Adelaide has been great! Lily was a super star and flew around the 3* clear and under time to move her into 3rd position going into showjumping! I couldn’t be happier with her and so glad to be able to share it with Fiona Mitchell. A couple of little blips in the dressage today at Adelaide but very happy Lily held it together, currently sitting 7th in a field of 47 after dressage. A fabulous outcome for Sam at the 4yo Young Event Horse class at Maryland Horse Trials!! Prinz Von der Ahe ACF is a horse Sam has been training during his time with Boyd Martin. At this event they scored a fantastic 67.1 out of 70 for the jumping, gallop and overall impression to win the class!
