Delure (Rudy) is an Off the Track Thoroughbred gelding, foaled in 2020 and sired by Dundeel. Sam first noticed Delure while he was completing trackwork at Price Kent Racing and was immediately impressed by his natural athleticism and the qualities that would make him a standout event horse. When it became clear that racing was not going to be his long term career, Delure was purchased by Fiona Mitchell in June 2024, on Sam’s recommendation, and he came to join the Jeffree Eventing team as a future upper level prospect.
Delure began his eventing career in 2025, gaining valuable experience at EvA80 and EvA95 level as he developed confidence and understanding across all three phases. In 2026, he stepped up to CCN1* level, where the focus has remained firmly on education and producing him correctly for a long and successful career. Despite his young age and patient preparation, Delure claimed an impressive victory at the prestigious Wandin Horse Trials, highlighting the exciting potential he possesses.
With his athleticism, trainable nature and quality movement, Delure is an exciting young horse with a very bright future, and one to watch as he continues his journey through the levels.
