We had a successful weekend at Friends of Ballarat Eventing Association Horse Trials last weekend. Congratulations to the committee who have had to overcome many trying circumstances, at last it all happened and in glorious weather too! What a brilliant event we had last week at Wandin Park. Many thanks to Jarryd Stanley and the whole team involved in running such a huge event, the OC did a fabulous job and the grounds looked stunning! Where to even start with this fabulous event?! I guess it goes without saying we need to start with the absolute superstar Woodmount Lolita in her first 4****. I was happy with a solid dressage test scoring sub 30 but still plenty of room for improvement which is also exciting! Another super event for Jeffree Eventing on the weekend where I rode 6 horses. Firstly a big thankyou to the organising committee of Tonimbuk Horse Trials for everything they had to deal with, and ensuring that riders and horses remained safe in some trying conditions. Tooradin Horse Trials 2019

On November 23 and 24 I ended the competition season at Tooradin Horse Trials, and it was a great way to finish with all of my horses coming home with rosettes! Cross country day in Adelaide has been great! Lily was a super star and flew around the 3* clear and under time to move her into 3rd position going into showjumping! I couldn’t be happier with her and so glad to be able to share it with Fiona Mitchell. A fabulous outcome for Sam at the 4yo Young Event Horse class at Maryland Horse Trials!! Prinz Von der Ahe ACF is a horse Sam has been training during his time with Boyd Martin. At this event they scored a fantastic 67.1 out of 70 for the jumping, gallop and overall impression to win the class!
