Cascabel is a Warmblood gelding, foaled in 2019 and by Contenda, a bloodline long admired by Jeffree Eventing for producing quality event horses. Originally purchased by Elin Jarnestrom, Cascabel began his education under Elin before his talent was recognised by Sam while coaching her. With his impressive size, athleticism and obvious potential, it was decided he would be best suited to continue his career with a professional rider, and Sam was excited to take on the ride. Delure

Delure (Rudy) is an Off the Track Thoroughbred gelding, foaled in 2020 and sired by Dundeel. Sam first noticed Delure while he was completing trackwork at Price Kent Racing and was immediately impressed by his natural athleticism and the qualities that would make him a standout event horse. When it became clear that racing was not going to be his long term career, Delure was purchased by Fiona Mitchell in June 2024, on Sam's recommendation, and he came to join the Jeffree Eventing team as a future upper level prospect. Wimborne Caitlin

Wimborne Caitlin was bred by Wimborne Park stud in 2017, and Sam purchased her directly from there in September 2020 when she was just turning 3. Caitlin is full sister to the 4star Wimborne Conjuror. At the time of her purchase Victoria was in the grip of Covid lockdowns but Sam was convinced this filly has what it takes to go all the way to the top. Since then Caitlin has had a combination of training and spells to allow her to grow and mature. Santoro (Sammy) is a 16hh Warmblood gelding, bred at Ryan’s Horses in 2012. He is by Starnberg out of a Regardez Moi mare, and is owned by Sam alongside Santoro Syndicate members including Karen Dabbs, Mark and Lisa Rudelic, and Andrea Kennedy. Santoro came to Jeffree Eventing in October 2018 and officially joined the team in July 2019. [RETIRED] As we said farewell to 2023, it is also time to say farewell to the best horse I have had the pleasure to ride and have a part of the Jeffree Eventing team to date. [RETIRED] Jaybee Calypso is a 2002 purpose bred warmblood sired by Carbine. Calypso was purchased for Sam at the end of 2013, when he was 11 years old and Sam was 15. Together they forged a strong relationship that spanned 6 years. 2014 was the first year Sam and Calypso went out in competition and in that year they qualified, competed and placed at Pony Club State Championships and Interschool State and National Championships.
